Part of Frome Festival 2018

It’s a real honour and privilege to welcome the pioneering folk fiddle supergroup on their first ever visit to the venue.
Touring to celebrate their 20th Anniversary and release of their latest album “The Key”, Blazin’ Fiddles never fail to bring the party!
The multi award winning fiddlers have introduced their brand of infectious and irresistible euphoria to audiences across the globe making them firm festival favourites with their unique sound augmented by wonderful keyboard and guitar accompaniments.

No other band captures Scottish fiddle music’s variety, sensitivity and energy like this amazing band.
Like rare single malts, each member draws the distinct flavour from their particular part of the Highlands and Islands, coming together in a fiery blend to excite the senses!
They manage to combine everything there is to enjoy in their music- gently soothing melodies and the stirring glorious sound of multiple fiddles in harmony.

Their dynamism and enjoyment are truly infectious, creating an exhilarating and wonderful euphoria that comes from a passion for their music and a longing to share it.

“Incredible!” Mark Radcliffe
“A Blazin’ Fiddles gig is an informal party complete with chaos, fun and natural enthusiasm” Fiddle Magazine
“Combining regional styles in a joyful soul-stirring show” Folk Radio UK
“The Led Zeppelin of the folk world!” The Scotsman

Whatever the Hall – be it the Royal Albert or a small Highland village – this band never fails to set the hearts of audiences alight!
There’ll be dancing in the aisles from the music of the Isles!

Plus support:
Captain Cactus & The Screaming Harlots
Making a big name for themselves on the gig and festival scene for their unique blend of Folk, Blues & Americana with tales of whisky, woe and women!
