AU414 Digital Photography

This full and comprehensive course with James Bartholomew covers all aspects of digital photography, using a DSLR or compact digital camera. Tuition includes camera settings; shutter speeds, apertures, ISO and white balance; composition and artistic methods; flash and continuous lights; portraits; still life; architecture; image storage and editing; image manipulation; social media; accessories; printing and presentation.

Learners are assessed individually, grouped in pairs for set assignments, and choose a subject for a photo diary to work on between classes; leaving the course with a set of notes and a portfolio of images that will bring them to a higher level of understanding and accomplishment.

Please bring your Digital SLR or compact digital camera plus a laptop if possible and any accessories you wish to use.
