A highly enjoyable and diverse 10 week art course looking at: drawing and composition, line and mark making with ink, mono-printing and tone, the introduction of collage using newsprint, introduction of colour with acrylics, the colour wheel, painting and mixed media on paper, and scaling up – to create a larger mixed media piece on paper or canvas.

Suitable for all abilities, this course is taught by Amy Yates (www.aimlessart.com), a self-employed artist and illustrator with a successful business selling her work on Etsy as well as through her own website.

Amy is a regular exhibitor of Frome Art Society and organizer of groups of artists in the Frome Open Art Trail. She has previously taught watercolour painting and run several workshops of semi-abstract art and mono-printing.
