SU341 – Introduction to Playwriting

Do you enjoy theatre, improvisation and creative writing? Do you have a story to tell in the form of a play? Playwriting and performance gives you the opportunity to bring your story to life, with tips on how to create convincing characters and dramatic scenes.

In each session, we will read and discuss our views on a range of scripts, use drama and creative writing exercises to inspire your own playwriting and share our scenes in a supportive environment. At the end of the course, there will be an option to read or perform your work in front of an invited audience.
