This session will show that outside of London, Frome and the surrounding area can lay claim to being a key location in the Pre-Raphaelite story. Learn the identity of the local buyer of the first ever Pre-Raphaelite painting; discover why the time Christina Rossetti spent in Frome was key to her development as a poet; uncover which later Pre-Raphaelite had a connection with Mells and Frome and how a key religious revolution played its own part in the narrative.
