The Wessex Association of Model Railway Clubs proudly presents its 2026 Model Railway Exhibition, held at the renowned Cheese and Grain in Frome. Set against the backdrop of this historic Somerset venue, the show promises another exciting weekend of railway modelling at its finest.
Bringing together layouts, traders, and enthusiasts from across the region and beyond, this year’s exhibition will showcase a wide variety of scales, eras, and modelling styles—from the steam age through to the modern main line. Visitors can expect beautifully detailed layouts, expert demonstrations, and opportunities to meet and chat with modellers who are passionate about recreating the magic of Britain’s railways in miniature.
Alongside the exhibits, a selection of specialist traders will be on hand offering everything from kits and components to scenic materials and ready-to-run models. Whether you’re a seasoned modeller, a collector, or simply a railway enthusiast, there’s plenty to enjoy for all ages.
The Cheese and Grain’s central location makes it an ideal setting—offering easy access, refreshments, and a friendly atmosphere that captures the spirit of the Wessex railway modelling community.
