WIN A SIGNED

COLDPLAY GUITAR

In 2024, global music icons Coldplay chose Somerset’s premier venue, the Cheese and Grain in Frome, to rehearse for their highly anticipated Glastonbury Festival headline set.

Following their electrifying performance to a massive live audience and millions of viewers around the world, Coldplay made a generous donation to support local young musicians in the Frome area. Their contribution enabled 180 young people from all backgrounds to access the Bert Jansch Music Studio, taking part in 20 four-hour Sunday Sessions delivered by local charity Young People Frome (Registered Charity No. 1141319).

To continue funding this vital project, the Cheese and Grain is raffling an Epiphone guitar signed by Coldplay during their 2024 visit. Every penny raised will go directly towards providing studio time for young musicians to keep developing their skills and creativity

.

When asked how they’d like to build on the success of the first programme, the young people shared their vision for the next round of Sunday Sessions, including:

Masterclasses in recording studio techniques and songwriting

Recording sessions for music acts to produce their own material

Collaborative sessions bringing together musicians who’ve never met before

Sessions open to all schools and colleges

Opportunities for organisations that support young people

Dedicated sessions for home-educated young people

Open community sessions

Your support will help make this vision a reality. Together, we aim to raise enough funds to give at least another 180 young people the chance to benefit from this unique and inspiring programme.
