Improve your wellbeing in body, mind, and spirit through gentle, mindful yoga designed to nurture you as a whole.
These fun and friendly classes are suitable for all genders, ages, and abilities—no flexibility or previous experience needed. Options are always offered, including chair-based poses for those who prefer or need extra support, making the practice accessible to most abilities and levels of mobility.
Rooted in the Krsnamacharya/Desikachar tradition, the practice honours the breath and includes postures, breathing techniques, sound, meditation and visualisation to support your individual health needs. Elaine’s compassionate teaching style ensures that everyone feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to move at their own pace or simply rest.
Each term has a theme—such as balance, calm, or happiness—helping you explore yoga as a path to personal vitality and inner peace. Slow, mindful movement builds strength, stability, and resilience in both body and mind.
If you miss a class, you can attend another of the four weekly sessions Elaine teaches that term, or access a recording of her live Zoom class—so there’s no reason to miss your yoga.
You will need to bring a yoga mat or similar, water for hydration & a blanket. Chairs are provided for sitting; do bring your own sitting equipment if you prefer.
Elaine is a qualified yoga teacher and has been teaching for over 16 years.
