Frome Rock Choir

Rock Choir is much more than a choir – it’s a multi layered singing experience. The power of music, meeting new friends and performing at life changing events, together contribute to an emotional and powerful journey for members.

Rock Choir is the pioneering contemporary choir of the UK and remains unique with over 20,000, members


enjoying it across the UK. Each member is welcomed into the Rock Choir family and their journey  allows
music, friendship and a new found confidence to impact their everyday lives.

As a new member, you may choose to simply rehearse with your friends or take to the stage and join them at a variety of Rock Choir events and shows- it’s up to you. You can take as much or as little from the experiences on offer. You’ll never have to sing on your own or be under any pressure.

IT Hub & UK Online

The IT hub at the Cheese & Grain is  a Centre Partner for UK-online.  This means that people can drop into the hub and take advantage of the online courses provided.  Sue is the tutor/mentor who will help you with any of the courses or will teach you how to use a computer for finding work, filling in online forms, using emails or searching the Internet.

Visit the IT hub on the mezzanine at the Cheese & Grain:

Tue/Wed  from 10.00-12.00

If you have no access to computers or the Internet at home then we can help.  We run mixed Job Club and training sessions to help people with the IT skills needed for searching for work.  On Tuesday and Wednesdays the ‘drop-in’ sessions are there to help you with all aspects of IT and computers for everyday needs.





The success of The Frome Vegan Fair has prompted huge support from the community and it’s now looking like Frome will be the pioneers in launching the first regular vegan market in Somerset!

Frome Vegan Market will open its doors on the first Saturday of the month, with the first market taking place on Saturday 7th April at 9:00am.


From food and drink through to clothing, cosmetics, accessories and gifts. This could be a fantastic opportunity to stock up your cupboards, treat yourself or treat your loved ones to something special!

If you’re not vegan, why not pop in and see why so many people are switching to this alternative way of life? You may discover something you love!
