Following today’s announcement regarding Mendip being under Tier 2 restriction, the new government guidance states “Public attendance at outdoor and indoor events (performances and shows) is permitted”. We have been consulting with the police and licensing authorities throughout the day due to this change.

They have advised that on the basis that The Cheese & Grain can operate under Covid-secure conditions, our planned events from the 4th December can take place as scheduled. This is providing Police, Fire and Mendip District Council agree our event plans fall in line with the most up to date Government legislation. We cannot provide any more details at this time, while we seek clarification on the status of our live music events. We will feedback this information to all our customers as soon as possible.
