The C&G are seeking a part time Building Sevices Manager (25 hours a week) to lead a team comprising of a part time Assistant Building Manager and part time maintenance staff and cleaners, taking responsibility for safety and building security and ensuring that staff are co-ordinated in such a way to ensure the venue is always ready for events and activities seven days/nights a week.
The Building Managers responsibilities are across the week 24/7 and they must always be contactable by mobile phone/email but they have considerable flexibility in when they work.
Applicants must have a least two-years paid work experience of leading and supervising staff and have basic ITC skills. They must be able to work well in a team, be adept at delegating and have a friendly and co-operative manner.
Professional experience of building management and organising small capital/building/maintenance projects is also required.
