Charlie Simpson DJ Set

One of the UK’s most recognisable pop-rock icons is bringing the ultimate noughties nostalgia pop party to Frome this May. As Busted & Fightstar frontman the legendary Charlie Simpson will be taking to the decks at the Cheese & Grain.

The night will see the biggest pop hits from the 2000’s played from the likes of McFly, Destiny’s Child, Steps & of course Busted!

Busted had four UK number-one singles, performed to sold-out arenas across the UK, and went on to win two BRIT Awards for ‘Best Pop Act’ and ‘Best British Breakthrough’ in 2004. Over the course of their career, the group released four studio albums, and penned several mega hits including their debut single “What I Go To School For” and the follow up tracks “Year 3000”.

Charlie then went off to front the massively successful rock band Fightstar, as well as having critical and commercial acclaim with a solo career.

He would go on to reform Busted, with the band’s latest record ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’, which featured an array of high-profile collaborators such as Jonas Brothers, James Arthur, McFly, You Me At Six and The Vamps, storming to the top of the UK Albums Chart in September 2023, securing the No. 1 position. Flightstar also announced they would be reforming in 2024 for a special show at Wembley Arena.
