After a dynamic spring tour celebrating the release of their politically charged album Kleptocracy, followed by a second leg this autumn, Ferocious Dog is set to bring a new experience to fans with a special acoustic tour in spring 2025. This tour will showcase a stripped-back, intimate sound that unveils a different side of the Kleptocracy album, dives into the band’s extensive back catalogue, and pays tribute to the traditional folk songs that have inspired them from the beginning.

While Kleptocracy introduced a bolder sound with heavier rock influences and an expanded Celtic flavor, this upcoming tour will offer a unique intensity rooted in the raw energy of acoustic instrumentation—enhanced only slightly by microphones. With this approach, Ferocious Dog aims to give audiences an up-close and personal performance, presenting their music in a way that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

The acoustic setlist promises fan-favorite tracks from across Ferocious Dog’s career, reimagined with a folk-centric twist, along with renditions of traditional folk songs that echo the themes of resistance and rebellion central to Kleptocracy. These songs speak to timeless stories of struggle and resilience, themes that resonate as strongly today as ever. The band looks forward to breathing new life into these narratives on stage, honoring the roots of folk music while keeping its spirit of defiance alive.

As a follow-up to the powerful full-band energy of the Kleptocracy tour, this acoustic series invites fans to experience the core of Ferocious Dog’s music in a stripped-back setting. It’s a journey that brings them back to their roots—just as passionate and uncompromising, but with a more acoustic edge.
