The Wiltshire-based duo write about connection, community, nature and the changing seasons, creating a sound that carries echoes of the late-’60s folk scene while remaining unmistakably their own.

Now living aboard their canal boat on the Kennet & Avon, their music has become increasingly inspired by the rhythms, landscapes and ever-changing pace of life on the water.

Hushwing are a Frome-based contemporary alternative indie-folk band formed by musicians Jack and Izzy.

Built around rich vocal harmonies, thoughtful songwriting and an intimate, atmospheric sound, their music draws heavily on travel, nature and their own personal relationship. Blending delicate folk textures with a modern indie sensibility, Hushwing create songs that feel both reflective and expansive, with a strong sense of place and emotion running throughout.

The band have been steadily building a reputation on the local live circuit and were recently hand-picked to support acclaimed indie-folk trio Flyte, marking an exciting step forward for the emerging Frome act.
