Frome’s largest community choir is back!  This year Frome Voices will be performing a concert of Mozart’s glorious music, including the powerful and profound  ‘Requiem’, together with the popular and lyrical Ave Verum and Laudate Dominum.  We are also delighted to present Mozart’s less familiar Bassoon Concerto, with bassoonist Andrew Huntriss.

The choir of around one hundred local singers will be joined by a full orchestra, under the leadership of Maxim Del Mar, together with eminent professional soloists Emily Bradley (Soprano), Mercè Bruguera Abelló (Alto), Oliver Johnston (Tenor) and Thomas Humphreys (Bass). The Musical Director and Conductor is Alan Burgess.
As with so many choirs, Frome Voices was unable to rehearse and perform during the Covid pandemic, so its members are especially delighted to be performing again in its favourite venue, the Cheese and Grain.  It will be a concert to lift your spirits and stir your emotions and we look forward to singing to a sell-out audience.
Please note that seats are unreserved.
