Frome Voices, Frome’s largest community choir returns to the Cheese and Grain on Sunday 23rd March with a performance of the Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Sir Karl Jenkins, featuring professional soloists and orchestra. The performance, under Musical Director Alan Burgess and featuring works by British composers will also include Michael Tippett’s spirituals from his oratorio, A Child of our Time and a selection of songs by Edward Elgar. Vaughan Williams evocative orchestral piece The Lark Ascending will complete the programme.

The performance begins at 7.30pm.
