For anyone who doesn’t know what a Scrapstore is, it is a warehouse full of materials and objects which can be used fore art, craft, play, DIY, homemaking or just messing around and being inspired.
The Pod works with adults with additional needs and this project, designed with the members, is about creating a work experience opportunity, with the added benefit of a fantastic resource for the community.
Come along and explore and get your creative vibes flowing!
You’ll be amazed what we have sourced and saved from being thrown away. Re-purpose, re-use, re-cycle, up-cycle!! It’s all good fun and good for the environment.
Everyone welcome, adults, children, school parties, nurseries, community groups, there is something for everyone.
For parties of school or nursery children accompanied by staff please contact us to advise on numbers, it does get busy. All children/young people accompanied by a staff member enter free.
Entry is £1.
Scrap is bought by the bag, large £12.50, medium £7.50 or small £5.
Some items may be priced individually.
We also have the Toy Library and Creative Cats ‘N’ Kittens providing more play and craft inspiration.
We will continue to run a series of Pop-Up Scrapstore’s until we find a permanent site. Look out in the press and on social media for future dates.
