Hitting the U.K. on their ‘Join the Church’ Tour
Salem is the second project from Will Gould, best known as frontman/vocalist of the one and only CREEPER and Matt Reynolds (Howard’s Alias, Skylar, Drawings)
Speaking to NME about his new side-project last year, Gould described Salem’s output as “spooky, silly, romantic punk rock songs.”
Of the band’s next steps, he said: “There are so many possibilities for what comes next. We’ve been doing bits over
lockdown and it’s becoming this punk and soul thing. It’s going to progress because I can’t sit still”.
Further explaining to Kerrang! “This band feels like a love letter to a lot of our early influences,” he continues. ​“It’s a return to our roots in a lot of ways.”
