
The 1830s is seen as being the decade when photography entered the public consciousness and before long there was an array of photographic studios, camera clubs and thriving commercial outlets in Frome.
This session will look at some of the town’s pioneers, including an early exponent of aerial photography, all illustrated with examples of people, places and events of the town and area captured for prosperity.
