With a hugely successful career spanning over 6 decades. From the clubs and concert halls through to performing on the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival, Tony Christie will be bringing his farewell show to Frome this coming October.
Tony will be performing a select handful of shows along with his band in 2025 in commemoration of his triumphant 60+ year career. With no sign of faltering, Tony is living proof that age is just a number and there’s beauty in experience.
Tony Christie recently featured on ITV’s Loose women talking about living with dementia. Whilst Tony is living with dementia, his onstage performances have not been affected, giving Tony the chance to continue the journey he loves. From one of the biggest selling singles of the past two decades ‘Is This The Way to Amarillo’, to other classics including ‘Avenues & Alleyways’, ‘Walk Like A Panther’, ‘Las Vegas’ and ‘I Did What I Did For Maria’, through to new singles ‘Thank You For Being A Friend’ ‘Home, Home, Home’ & ‘Just Like Yesterday’ together with some show-stopping covers from the late greats that helped shape the career of the humble veteran from Yorkshire.
