Please be aware due to Frome Carnival there are road closures throughout the town.

Mendip District Council have issued the following road closures for Frome:

The following roads shall be closed as necessary, to all vehicular traffic between the hours of 15:00 and 22:30 on Saturday 21st September 2019 during the Frome Carnival:-

Manor Furlong, Manor Road, Manor Way

The following roads shall be closed as necessary, to all vehicular traffic on Saturday 21st September 2019 during the Frome Children’s Carnival Procession:-

between 13.00 hours and 17.00 hours

Weymouth Road, Somerset Road

between 14.00 hours and 17.00 hours

Christchurch Street West, Christchurch Street East, Wesley Slope, Butts Hill, The Butts, Gorehedge

The following roads shall be closed as necessary, to all vehicular traffic between 18.00 and 00:00 hours on Saturday 22nd September 2018 during the Frome Carnival:-

Market Place, The Bridge, Christchurch Street East, North Parade, Buts Hill, Berkley Road (to junction of Forest Road), The Butts, Wesley Slope, Marston Road (from The Butts to jct of The Grove to The Butts), Bath Street Eagle Lane Fromefield (from Nth Parade to Nth Hill Hse School)

There is also a FunFair in the Mendip Car Park in which we are situated so parking is limited.
