Latest Update June

We hope all our customers, friends and supporters are keeping well during this extremely difficult time for the world.

Given the continued Government restrictions, The Cheese & Grain will remain closed for public events, with all concerts until at least the end of June postponed. All non voluntary venue staff are currently furloughed and our office & box office is closed at this time.

The following are the latest update to events currently, all concerts until at least June are postponed.

3rd June Airbourne – Cancelled
5th June The Undertones – Postponed to 19th March 2021
6th June Martin Kemp – Postponed to 17th April 2021
17th June The Strawbs – Postponed new date TBC
18th June An Evening with Paul Merson & Matt Le Tessier – Postponed 11th February 2021
21st June Henge – Postponed new date TBC
27th June – Black Uhuru – Postponed new date TBC

15th August – The Dualers – Postponed to 14th November
21st August – The Wurzels – Postponed to 12th December

Sadly at this time there is no update on when the Cheese and Grain will be able to re-open, we are in dialogue with all relevant authorities and closely following all governmental announcements and guidelines. The venue will ensure to provide an update once we have anything we can report on this.

We are of course mindful that while we have been closed a large number of events have been postponed and cancelled.

The venue fully appreciates the need for refunds on events and the amazing patience and support our customers have shown us during this period, in which we have been unable to provide refunds in our normal timely manner. We are unable to process any refund requests until we can safely deploy staff to return to work in our box office.

We hope to have an update on this in the next few weeks and will email affected customers once we have been given the green-light on this.

Our staff hope to be able to welcome you all back to the venue in the very near future.
